Keep Your kitchen Bins Clean & Smelling Lemony-fresh!

Kitchen bins can be a magnet for insects and bacteria – not to mention unpleasant odours! Use these SUPA handy tips to keep your bin impressively clean and smelling lemony-fresh!

You will need:

  • Reheat the oven to 220 ℃
  • Firstly, start with a clean bin with a lid. The lid plays an important part in keeping unwanted bugs away (bonus if you can get a pedal bin to avoid touching the lid)!
  • Insert one of my lemon-scented bin liners (available in 35l and 50l sizes).
  • Wipe your bin down daily with antibacterial spray and a reusable cleaning cloth (disinfect after use).
  • When full (or at least once a week – whichever happens first) remove the refuse bag using the convenient drawstring handles, tie and dispose. Disinfect and wash the inside of the kitchen bins. Allow the bin to stand in the sun for a few hours, then when completely dry, insert a new lemon-scented bin liner and you are good to go!

SUPA TIP:

Attach two hooks on the outside of the bin and hook my drawstring handles over them. This will allow you to place the handles safely out of the way for even cleaner refuse handling!
