These sausage ‘mummies’ are so cute!
They got a big thumbs up from the everyone and I made a jalapeño version too for those who can handle the heat 🌶🌶

Serves: 8
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- Supa Mama® baking paper
- 400 g puff pastry, defrosted
- 1 Tbsp. flour, to sprinkle
- 350 g cocktail sausages
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 4 tsp. soft cheese, to decorate
- 1 tsp. chopped black olives, to decorate


Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with Supa Mama® baking paper.
- Lightly roll out the pastry to 0.5cm thick over a floured surface, and cut into long thin strips, about 0.5cm wide. You’ll need about 1 strip per a sausage.
- Wrap the pastry strips around each sausage to create a mummy look. Brush with the beaten egg, then place on your lined baking tray.
- Bake in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden. Use small dollops of soft cheese topped with a small piece of black olive for the eyes. Serve with tomato sauce and mustard and enjoy!
